Hickel Sets Ohio Hearings On Water Pollution Charges
Interior Secretary Walter Hickel announced two Ohio hearings next month on water pollution charges involving Republic Steel United States Steel Jones and Laughlin Steel in Cleveland and Toledo city and Interlake Steel on the Maumee River. Hearings run Oct 7 8 in Cleveland and Oct 9 in Toledo. violations could lead to court action if no cleanup within 180 days.
