Voters to decide two city mill levy and two PWA projects

Ohio Public Works Projects Rejected by PWA
Washington Sept. 4 Ohio public works projects totaling 6 592 060 dollars in federal funds were rejected by Works Progress Administrator Harry L. Hopkins for failing to supply sufficient site employment. Twenty nine grant requests totaling 2 826 230 dollars were disapproved and 20 loan and grant applications totaling 5 765 830 dollars were turned down. The rejections affect Cincinnati and several Ohio localities including Euclid and Marietta with a range of municipal and school projects.
