Brandon Rutherford, founder of Invest Elyria, will resign effective Sept 18 after seven years leading the nonprofit. He plans to return to school to be with his young son and continues to support Elyria’s growth. He notes the group’s work includes the farmers market and community drives.

Oberlin Welcomes New Health & Dentistry Clinic in Lorain County
A 6,800 square foot, 2.4 million Health & Dentistry clinic opened at 260 S. Main St. in Oberlin, the fifth county site. Construction began in 2015 and finished in March. the facility will employ 16 staff and serve about 15,000 patients annually, including many children, offering pediatrics, women’s health, general dentistry, optometry and more.
