A man killed Tuesday night by FBI agents is believed to be one of two Halloween-masked robbers linked to a string of area bank heists. The deceased, Ronnie Williams, 28, of Cleveland, was shot during a pursuit near his home after armed confrontations with agents and a bounty hunter. A second suspect, Wilhalt Chal Bug Walla, is sought on an armed robbery warrant tied to a Cleveland Telephone Credit Union robbery, with possible links to other Cleveland and Lorain County bank heists.
Elyria area business leaders met September 4 at the Elyria Country Club with Akron lawyer David Brennan, head of the Western Reserve Economic Development Council, to discuss a multi–billion dollar 12 runway jetport and 50000 acre industrial park.
