Congressman Don W. Harter of this district delivered a Navy Day address at a Grafton rally last night before about 256 attendees. He urged building a stronger navy for national defense and endorsed Democratic candidates in upcoming municipal and broader state and national campaigns. Thieves stripped Deif Clothing in Wellington of 80 suits and 15 overcoats valued about 2300. Entry was through a rear window eight feet above ground after midnight. Oberlin Ohio October 29 Mrs Clara Marie Lee 43 died at Allen hospital from injuries suffered last Thursday when struck by an automobile while crossing East College Street in front of her home. She had just alighted from a car and stepped into the path of another. Mrs Lee resided with her son Thomas Charles a senior at Oberlin College on East College Street. Remains being taken to Madison Minnesota for burial.
CHICAGO October 28 Henry Midget Fernekes, a notorious killer and escaped convict, collapsed in his cell at the detective bureau today. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the county hospital after taking poison, prompting doctors to search for hidden poison and consider suicide.
