Dem rally scene as Mrs Anderson pleads guilty

In Elyria Lorain area a gunfire incident ends with Mrs Martha Anderson pleading guilty in police court to shooting boarder Johan Smith at 422 Bell avenue. She was bound over to the grand jury on a shooting to wound charge. Smith remains missing as police investigate.

Home of Niles Mayor Blown Up After Klan Rally Permit

The home of Mayor Harvey C. Kistler in Niles Ohio was wrecked by a bomb early today. The mayor and Mrs. Kistler, asleep upstairs, escaped with minor bruises and a shake. Police believe the blast results from his refusal to revoke the Ku Klux Klan rally permit for next Saturday. The Flaming Circle group planned a counter parade and asked for a revocation, which the mayor refused. Authorities continued a search for suspects through the night.

Man Sacrifices Life Saving Child At Mansfield Reservoir

In Mansfield on October 28 Hoyt Mitchell died while trying to rescue three year old Tony Gonshinsku who fell into the city reservoir along North Main road. A boat was used and the reservoir dragged before the bodies were recovered. Mitchell ran a filling station near the reservoir.
