Oberlin Coed Critically Injured on Rural Road
Emily Chamberlain Cook 21 of Arlington Virginia was found unconscious in the middle of Albrecht Road near Oberlin as detectives probe whether a hit and run or an earlier dumping caused the injuries. She was in critical condition with severe head injuries and lacerations, remaining in intensive care as investigators trace her activities from Detroit visit to the time of discovery. Her backpack and wallet were found nearby along with tire marks indicating a possible past vehicle action.
