Washington October 27 A labor peace conference between the Committee for Industrial Organization and the American Federation of Labor reached a critical point as both sides rejected alternate unity proposals. In Minneapolis loop an early morning collapse of two floors of a three story wholesale fruit company left eighteen buried beneath debris. One body was recovered about thirty minutes after the wreck.
