Afton Farm Boys Entertain Elyrians at Prison Night
A rural entertainment at Grafton prison featured Elyrian performers with vocal and instrumental acts. Humphrey led a piano accompaniment by Miss Fox, Wensman on the triangle, Ray Brunger on trombone, and banjo players from the farm boys. Wainwright organized the weekly program and donated reading matter via magazine collections for the boys. The temperance lesson from Romans 12–14 was reviewed, urging Christians to wear the armor of light and pursue righteousness, peace, and joy in the Christian life.
