Daniel Hines, 29, of Cleveland, was found guilty of one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and 15 counts of importuning. He faces up to 22 years in prison at sentencing November 15. His attorney said an appeal will follow.
Elyria reports the 9th District Court of Appeals denied Paul Hashman s appeal, ensuring his seven year prison term for shooting Darrell Oskins on Woodland Avenue in January 2004. Hashman planned to seek Ohio Supreme Court review.
A benefit dinner for Lorain County Deputy William Curtis Jr scheduled Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at New Russia Township Hall will feature three bands, a Jack Russell terrier performance, and LifeFlight demonstrations.
