Elvis drug addiction expert testifies in Nichopoulos trial
An expert witness described Elvis Presley as clearly a drug addict and said the doctor George Nichopoulos prescribed massive amounts of addictive drugs over about 30 years. Dr. Alvin Cummins argued 19 000 doses of uppers downs and painkillers were outrageous and dangerous. The defense pressed questions on tests and hospital notes while noting Placebos.
