Gang Exonerated When Missing Girl Is Found Playing

A missing girl, Frances daughter of Mr and Mrs Emory of Gulf Street, was found playing at a neighbor’s yard after police and Mayor Jones searched the East Side for gypsies linked to her disappearance. The girl had wandered from home, causing a coordinated lookout from Lakewood to the east before being located safely.

Six Ballots to Be Given Voters Nov 2 Many Extra Issues

Voters on November 2 will receive six ballots in Pach Faria with extra issues. The national ballot lists presidential candidates and electors while the state ballot covers state offices and the U.S. senator. Pulmotor Fails To Resuscitate Elyria Lineman

Elyria lineman Arthur Odell, 41, electrocuted on Dewey avenue while trimming trees with five companions. He slipped and touched a live 2200 volt wire. despite immediate resuscitation efforts, including pulmoter and fire department aid, he died after a relapse. Survived by wife and three children residing on Persons Court.

Elyria Police Aid In Capturing Bank Yeggs Whose Hold Up Fails

Elyria police aided in pursuing a four man bank robbery gang that attempted a Lodi Medina county hold up. The bandits arrived in a high powered car three entered the Bedford bank and a fourth waited at the wheel. One demanded a $10 bill change and Cashier J H Fisher ducked into a closet as a revolver was leveled at bookkeeper Wilson Lehman. The robbers fled before taking any money and authorities pursued but made no arrest as the pursuit spread across the countryside.
