Sheffield Village to hire first full time police dispatcher
Denizeann Prevec, 23, is expected to be named the village's first full time police dispatcher at a Special council meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. The Safety Committee approved her and six part time dispatchers. If approved by council, she will take a 40 hour post and leave her other two jobs. Prevec, a 1985 LCCC graduate with an associate degree in justice systems, has experience as a corrections intern and in police dispatch duties.
