Cleveland police search for a about 32 year old man five feet ten inches tall and 165 pounds suspected in the stabbing death of Kevin Green eleven. The 11 year old was found Friday in Old Brooklyn after being stabbed 69 times. Witnesses said the suspect shuffles when running and had chased three children and a woman near the Broadview Road bridge. Six men were questioned as part of the investigation and Rita Green found her son’s body near Conrail tracks.

Joseph T Ferguson known as Jumpin Joe died at Whetstone Convalescent Center in Columbus. A Democrat, he served as Ohio state auditor from 1937 and held state posts from 1914 to 1975, gaining fame by defeating multiple generations of Tracy rivals and swearing in his son Thomas E Ferguson in 1975.
After the death of Elyria recluse Josephine Martin known as Miss Jo, wreckers demolished her Second Street home uncovering 15 copper and metal boxes containing keepsakes, including a 125 year old silver dollar and a $20 bill. The “treasures” were the many animal friends she cared for, fed, and financed with veterinary bills.
