Prominent Dartmouth Student Drewes Found Dead in Philadelphia

Elmer C. Drewes a Dartmouth senior and athletic circle figure, was found shot and propped against a post in a Philadelphia outskirts area. Train Hold Up Netted Bandits. One Injured

A New York Central train holdup in the railroad yards today wounded a trainman and netted the bandits less than $100. A 13 year old Cleveland girl Jane Smith was briefly involved and a braid was shot from her head during the incident. Two men were arrested and charged with taking part in the holdup.

Theft reported of spare tire from W C G Smith's car

Police received a report that a spare tire was stolen from the automobile of W C G Smith on Adama Street while parked in front of the K of Clubhouse on East Broad Street. An open bov car with broken seal was found on NC tracks near Williams Street with tobacco scattered inside.
