Ohio National Guard mobilization planned for November
Governor Gilson D. Light announced a mobile mobilization of the Ohio National Guard in November possibly Armistice Day. The move comes on orders from the National Guard Bureau. Brigades from southern Ohio will meet to set mobilization dates, with northern Ohio to hold a similar meeting. The plan requires two drills weekly through Jan. 31 and seven days of field training, funded with an extra 175000 for costs. Recruiting aims to add two thousand personnel to Ohio forces.
