Blockade of Mediterrean And Red Seas Seen Likely

Britain is expected to push for an immediate complete boycott of Italian goods, with France possibly allowing British warships to use its ports.

Methodists minister dies after crossing collision south of Elyria
Rev. R. C. Jensen 36, recently installed pastor in Graf ton and Belden Methodist churches and a Grad school theology student at Abern, died in Elyria Memorial Hospital after his car was struck by a Baltimore and Ohio freight train at a Route 10 crossing three miles south of Elyria. Sheriff Dick cited the crossing’s danger and urged automatic signals. Jensen left Amherst for class, stayed up late, and attempted to outrun the train as leaves and wet pavement reduced traction. His wife Marie Müller and children had moved to Graf ton eight weeks earlier following his transfer.
