Lorain resident Walter Lane Ambrose, 41, was sentenced to the penitentiary by Judge D A Cook for operating an automobile owned by Lee Rogers of Lorain without consent on June 17. The ruling followed an unfavorable probation report and notes Ambrose previously served time in Pennsylvania for non support. Earl Mize, 18, also of Lorain, indicted similarly, was granted probation after taking a car owned by Roberti Balser on August 6.
