Grand jury indicts woman for murder and 49 others
Lorain County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging murder against Ella Pearl Riley, 39, of 1503 W 21st St Lorain for the stabbing death of Arthur L Johnson, 53 of 2640 Reeves Ave. The Sept 1 clash included sticks outside a 19th Court home and a six inch bladed knife. Riley surrendered to police about six hours later. The proceeding included 50 indictments, with 36 open cases against others on bond or in jail. ri ghts to arraign will be held before Common Pleas Judge Paul J Mikus Tuesday for court assignments and pretrials.
