Fatal Auto Crash Near Greenfield Claims Local Youths
Fare McCann 17 and three companions were injured in a Route 70 crash two and a half miles north of Greenfield. McCann died later at Greenfield Hospital from head and internal injuries. Rosemary Goldsberry 18 and Charlies Groves 18 suffered cuts on the head and Malcolm Flowers 18 sustained head injuries. Groves drove a roadster that was sideswiped by a second car that fled the scene after the collision.
