A 55 year old woman dangling 22 feet above the tracks on the New River railroad bridge was rescued by firefighters as the bridge opened. She had just taken part in a breast cancer awareness walk and suffered no injuries. Witnesses cheered as a 24 foot ladder was used to bring her to safety.
