North Ridgeville to get new WOW cable service in 2014
City officials said WOW Cable TV plans to compete with Time Warner by end of 2014. Matt Harper confirmed the rollout will start with parts of the city using existing poles and easements, with full city buildout planned over several years. Monthly pricing under universal plan is 60 dollars for two services or 70 dollars for three including Internet.

Oberlin aims for carbon neutrality with coal plant phaseout
Oberlin College starts replacing the Central Heating Plant coal boilers with natural gas on Monday. In March the coal-fired boilers will be offline as Oberlin becomes coal free, part of a plan to reach carbon neutrality by 2025.
