Steers At Junior Show Bring $38.98 Average
At the 16th Columbus junior livestock show 130 steers were shown across 16 counties with 1094 4 H and FFA members. Grand champion steer from Johnstown brought 1 45 per pound, while reserve champion Jeannette Boerger of Plain City paid 180 cents per pound. The top showman was Donald Ulry from Centerbury as a Shorthorn champion. Ohio State University sponsored the event with the 4 H and Extension programs.
