Two Americans Die in Morocco Postal Plane Crash

Paris dispatch reports an aero-naval tale Company postal plane crash near Jia Rache in Spanish Morocco. Two Americans were killed, named by company records as Mr and Mrs Dix, with additional French passengers Benezech and Lagueric. The plane operated on the Casablanca Toulouse route.

Watchman in Critical Condition After Injury at Willys-Overland Plant

Grant Snyder, 64, of Stop 70 Cleveland Road, was found with a fractured skull at the Willys-Overland plant early Saturday. He remained in critical condition at Eltra Memorial Hospital as officials pursued details of the mysterious injury. Snyder, a night watchman, was found at the foot of a stairway.

Aldrich Delays Questioning Baynham

A scheduled conference in Columbus between Ohio Prohibition officials and Baynham and Davis was postponed to Wednesday. Elyria Man Hurt in Auto Crash on Oberlin Road

Paul Barkas, 52, of 152 Woodford Avenue, Elyria, was badly injured when struck by a car driven by G. C. Russell at Stop 86 Oberlin road. Barkas suffered a fractured left leg and head lacerations. urbanseck shouted a warning but could not avoid the collision. He was treated at Elyria Memorial Hospital.

Severe Injuries From Foggy Auto Crash In Lorain County

A fog blanketing the Elyria Lorain area contributed to a West River road crash in which Joe Fedor suffered a severe scalp wound and serious injuries. Fedor, riding with Andy Bartos, was in a collision with a car driven by George Holtman of Elyria. Bartos’ car rolled over. Fedor was admitted to St Joseph’s hospital in Lorain.

Republicans 10 Rally Here Tonight

Local Republican leaders plan the first major rally of the 1930 campaign at the Rialto Theatre. Senator Roscoe McCulloch, candidate for re election to the U S Senate, is the main speaker with Mrs Katherine Kennedy Brown also set to speak. Three Cleveland High School students held up Lorain station

Three 17 year old youths confessed to Detective Sergt Frank Perreil they robbed a Lorain gasoline station Saturday night for a thrill. They used a car belonging to one boy’s father and borrowed a revolver. After the robbery they returned home. $33 was found in one youth’s sack. The trio was turned over to Lorain authorities for trial.

Girl Found Safe After Night Long Search by Scout and Police

Rose Marie Diedelber an 18 month old girl vanished at 6 PM from her aunt's yard in Hammond Indiana. About 1000 Boy Scouts and police scoured the area all night before she was found unharmed two blocks from home. Her father recently discharged 22 men from his plant raising fears of kidnapping. Police had canvassed homes of the dismissed workers as the search continued.
