Northwood students learn tie technique boosts confidence
In Elyria at Northwood Junior High School 16 seventh and eighth graders learn to tie a necktie learning a dress for success. Principal Stacie Starr uses a book club and tie lessons to mentor at risk youths and foster self respect. Ties donated by staff support the program.
