Drugs may save transplant patients at Stanford heart-lung ops
A University of Toronto team reports Cyclosporin A with prednisone may markedly extend survival after heart lung transplants. Dr Craddock presented the first of 12,000 surgeons at the American College of Surgeons meeting, noting Stanford patients Barry Davis and Mary Gotlke show longer survival than earlier cases.
