Honda to Build 25 Million Motorcycle Plant in Ohio

Honda Motor Co. will build a 217 acre motorcycle assembly plant in Union County Ohio, employing up to 500 workers, with capacity for 60,000 bikes a year starting spring 1979. Construction should begin soon after year end, with potential auto plant expansion later. In Ohio, lawmakers plan a special House Senate panel to draft a bill aiding financially strapped schools, expanding borrowing powers for districts with revenue shortfalls. The measure follows recent emergency law actions affecting districts with levies.
