Oberlin Ohio October 8 Nine presidents of colleges and university officials plus Oberlin leaders gathered to mark the centennial of women’s college education and coeducation at Oberlin. Nine honorary degrees were awarded to women and men including Edith Abbott Amelia Reinhardt Florence Sabin Belle Sherwin Dorothy Thompson Lewis Clare Toustey and William Netfjadon among others. The procession to Finney Chapel began the program with speakers Miss Mildred McAfee and Homer St. Clair continued on Page 2.

Death Of Wellington Man Linked To Tavern Brawl

Five Die In Train Collision Near Bridgeport Neb
Chicago, Burlington and Quincy officials probed a head on crash between a passenger train from Billings to Denver and a helper train near Angora on October 8.
