Supreme Court rejects Buell death-penalty appeal

An Ohio man, Robert A. Buell, 45, had his appeal denied by the Supreme Court for the 1982 murder and sexual assault of Krista Lee Harrison. The court declined to hear the case, after which Buell’s attorney indicated consideration of further post conviction state remedies.

Medina County probes to name assistant prosecutor

Medina County Prosecutor Jill R Heck will name an outside assistant who will coordinate a public corruption inquiry into present and former city and county officials.
