Glenn decries space funding as rhetoric and inaction
U S Senator John Glenn urged concrete budget action before a Retired Senior Volunteer Program dinner in Lorain, warning the nation risks lagging in space leadership as only 137 million of 200 million needed for a fourth shuttle has been allocated. He contrasted White House talk with funding demands and noted rising foreign launch activity. In Elyria, police investigated a theft of construction tools from a partially built TJ Maxx store near Midway Mall, noting no locks and no suspects.
