Five Injured In Last Night's Traffic Crashes
Five persons were hurt in separate traffic incidents reported by police and sheriff departments. Elbert Branscom, 30, of Amherst sustained a fractured right shoulder and scalp lacerations when his car rolled after leaving Route 113 near West Ridge road at 2:13 a.m. Branscom was westbound when it left the road, crossed the north shoulder, struck a sign and rolled over, deputies said. He was listed in fair condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Charles Hill, 21, of Grove Avenue, had abrasions on hands and arms, while Robert Harris, 20, of Ridgewood Road, received scalp and elbow lacerations and abrasions in a West River Road crash at 3:30 a.m. Ruthie L.
