Community Appreciation Day and Senior Living Fair are set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Lorain County Joint Vocational School in Pittsfield Township. Proceeds from a band raffle support the Florida trip for the Wellington Band Booster. events also include Food for America at Lorain County Fairgrounds and a dramatic Oberlin-Wellington Rescue performance.

Oberlin residents can borrow an iPad at the Monroe House and tour Oberlin landmarks at their own pace using tablet tours. The program costs 5 dollars per hour or 20 dollars per day with a 20 percent member discount. Tours cover a one block radius from Main and College streets.
