New Infirmary Building Nears Readiness at County Home
The county infirmary building is nearing completion with flooring and painting underway and expected to be ready within a month. The fireproof structure features a six to eight bed layout plus private rooms, a sun parlor and dining area that can open to form an auditorium, and ample baths and drinking fountains to ensure cleanliness and comfort for the sick. Dedication plans are being arranged, and Superintendent Rube Baus expresses pride in the improved facilities for the county home residents.
