New Gas Well Brought In South of City
A new gas well with a daily output of 900 009 cubic feet was drilled at the Mose Kolb farm on Butternut Ridge road about three miles south of Elyria. Organized by C A McMillen for about 25 Elyria residents the well reached 2575 feet and began flowing shortly after midnight. This is the second well drilled for the group following a spring discovery.

Four Auto Crashes Injure Four Near Elyria
Four men were injured in two separate auto accidents near Lorain county yesterday. Harr Bivins and Clement Ater sustained severe facial lacerations, while Charles Taber and Gust Boldes suffered serious injuries and a fractured arm respectively.
