Elyria Sailor to Be Buried with Military Honors
Rudolph Piskuran, one of 429 sailors killed at Pearl Harbor on December 7 1941 aboard the USS Oklahoma, will be buried with full military honors at St Mary’s Cemetery October 14. The remembrance notes his youth and service as a U.S. Navy yeoman and cites Roosevelt’s signature honoring his sacrifice.
