A 20 foot range gunman fired from a home made pistol near Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and President Zail Singh during a memorial in New Delhi. No injuries reported though two bystanders received superficial wounds. police say the shooter is a non Sikh with no known ties to terror or insurgent groups. Leaders remained safe and unshaken amid heightened security by India’s NSG.
