An accident yesterday afternoon on Middle Avenue involved an auto from New Philadelphia that struck the Summers family car. Mrs Summers, seated in the rear, was shaken and sustained a finger injury as the car rolled and then stopped after the impact.
In Lorain attorneys argued before Judge Redington over jurisdiction and demurrer claims. Kings and colleagues pressed that the commission is not a legal body and may delay the case, while Meyer and others urged timely briefs due next Wednesday.

Police records list September fines totaling 408.40 collected by Police Clerk Grant Schrock from forty four prisoners. The office also accrued 23.00 from vendor licenses 3.50 from building permits and 3.79 from miscellaneous collections bringing the month’s total to 495.70.
George Drumguski was fined $10 and costs in police court for a disorderly intoxication charge. He claimed the liquor was procured in Lorain and admitted drinking too much raisin jack. An additional assessment of $65 and costs was also levied for the incident.

Akron Oct 2 A wanted man believed to have killed two men whose bodies were found near a moonshine still on a farm in Parma Heights village slipped through a police dragnet last night. Detective Harry Welsh said the suspect was in the area but could not be located.
