Milk peddler William Stervinski ends life by hanging
William Stervinski known as Till Bender, 94, a longtime milk peddler, died by suicide yesterday near Frank Garrett’s Carlisle farm. After arriving in Elyria with Perry Whitcomb to sell milk, Stervinski returned to the Garretts’ barn, used a window cord for hanging, and was found by Mrs. Garrett and a neighbor. His body was recovered, with coroner notified. relatives include several sisters and a half brother.
