Voters in Grafton Village Lorain County Ohio will decide on a 5900 bond issue to buy fire apparatus including a fire truck and equipment with a five year term and an estimated outside rate of 1.18 mills. Polls open 6 30 a m to 6 30 p m Eastern Standard Time. Also LaGrange Village School District voters will decide on a two mill levy for three years drawn from bond retirement funds with no net rate change. Additional notices include a public sale of real estate in Elyria and multiple property transfers and local notes.

In Grafton Chatham a surprise party for Mr and Mrs Karl Clinesmith and family drew about twenty neighbors Monday evening as they prepare to move up east Chatham road. The East Road Friendly Neighbors held a party Saturday night at B E Grims vacant house with about thirty attendees. Several local families were noted visiting others over the weekend including callers at the Arthur Dirlam home in Oberlin and gatherings in Newark and Litchfield.
