Man Struck and Killed Crossing Route 18 in Brighton Twp
Michael Richley aged 51 was struck and killed while walking his dog across state Route 18 near his home in Brighton Township. Ray Hughes 30 of Berlin Heights drove a 2002 Ford Taurus eastbound and collided with Richley. Hughes was uninjured and the vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage. The crash remains under investigation with no signs of speed alcohol or drugs as factors.
