Ohio State attacker unknown to authorities
Abdul Razak Ali Artan a Somali born student carried out a car and knife attack at Ohio State University. He was not known to FBI counterterrorism authorities before the incident. Police shot him dead after 11 people were injured. Authorities consider possible terrorism but found no evidence of overseas direction. Investigators searched Artan's apartment as the motive remains undetermined.

Police say Artan drove a Honda into a crowd near Watts Hall then tried stabbing bystanders injuring eleven with one critical condition.

City committee backs CIC take over of General Industries site
