Indicted Lorain shooter sentenced to prison term
Lester Brown, 33, indicted for manslaughter in the July 17 1952 shooting of William Jackson in Lorain, was sentenced to a term of one year to life in the penitentiary by Judge D A Cook. Brown was apprehended in El Paso Texas and returned at a cost of 657 plus 50 attorney fees. Brown claimed the shooting was unintentional.
