Councilman resigns over city charter eligibility
Sheffield Lake councilman Kurt Enzmann of the 4th Ward resigned to challenge the city charter voting and residency requirements. He says the provision creates a second class citizen and plans to seek a court decision while a Charter Review Commission will be formed next year. The resignation leaves the council at four members and an at large seat vacancy will be filled.
