Obituary: David J. Babcock Elyria resident and longtime specialist
David J. Babcock 67 of Elyria died November 22 2016 after an apparent heart attack. Born May 7 1949 in Cleveland he worked 43 years for the Lorain County Board of Developmental Disabilities as a behavioral specialist. He enjoyed golf and helping others. Survivors include his wife Gail daughters Stephanie Amanda Kara, sons Matt Greg eight grandchildren and brothers Jim and Gary. Visitation November 28 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home Elyria. Burial is private and memorials may be made to Friends of Murray Ridge.
