Evacuation At Lorain County Automotive Systems After CO Exposure
Lorain County Automotive Systems in Elyria evacuated about 300 workers after several people reported carbon monoxide symptoms. Fire crews detected high CO levels and LifeCare Ambulance transported several employees to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center for treatment. The plant, an arm of Camaco, opened in 2015 and employees were sent home for the night.

House of men seeks sober life at river edge center
Along North Ridge Road in Sheffield Township a recovery house named Primary Purpose opened with an open house on November 11 and began accepting residents on November 14. Co directors Ed Barrett Webb Boyles Jim Doyle and Chuck Craft say the program helps men stay sober and become productive members of society as 24 of 68 beds fill.
