Kendal Oberlin volunteers give thousands of hours locally
Verlie describes Kendal at Oberlin’s Volunteer Clearing House as a decade-old program guided by residents. In 2002 volunteers logged 37 821 hours with 38 percent in-house, supporting libraries, flowers, and programming while aiding Lorain County groups and schools. The drive expands to Hot Meals and food programs with calls to Kendal for needs.
