Vermilion Man Arrested for Sex With 15-Year-Old
Vermilion police say 23 year old Charles R. Shippe, of Alpine Road, met a 15 year old girl in an Internet chat room and had sexual contact. He was found hiding in the girl’s bedroom in October and gave a false name claiming to be 17. he faces unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and is jailed on a $5,000 bond awaiting municipal court. There are no other victims identified.
