Glen C. West, now principal at Ridgeville Township, was named Crawford County superintendent of schools last night by the County Board of Education. He will succeed the late K. M. Suffers Minor Burns In Explosion Here
James Mossbarger a 15 year old of 318 Cambridge avenue sustained minor burns to arms and shoulders when a gasoline heated steamer used to remove wallpaper exploded in an empty house at 235 Princeton avenue owned by T W Dunstan. Mossbarger and a helper extinguished the blaze before firemen arrived. Chief Bates said the damage was mainly scorched bathroom walls.

Heart Attack Fatal To Elyria Man
John Frederick, 70, was found dead in bed about noon at 520 North street where he roomed. Lieut. Detective Lloyd Sweet said indicators pointed to natural causes. His body was removed to Nichols Funeral Home. Survived by brothers George Frederick, a Broad street restaurant proprietor, and Henry, believed in Florida, and sister Mrs. H. C. Reinhardt of West Bridge street Elyria.

Five In Family Asphyxiated In Bridgeport Home
A Bridgeport family of five died from accidental gas asphyxiation traced to a kitchen range jet. Victims included Raymond Z. Yeoman, secretary of the M A, his wife Elizabeth, and their three children. Neighbors alerted police after finding no one awake in the single-family house. Yeoman, a Detroit native who served with Canadian forces in World War I, had recently relocated from Detroit.
