Sullivan Couple Fatally Struck By Car in Sullivan
SULLIVAN CO. Nov. 22 Mr and Mrs Frank Dennis of Sullivan were killed about 5 p.m. Saturday when struck by a car driven by John Miskow of Lorain as they crossed a street in the business district. Fire causes 200 damage at Elyria home
Firefighters from Hose Company No 1 and Engine Company No 3 battled a morning blaze at 358 Vulcean Street, the home of George Matyas, for 53 minutes. The fire started at the southwest corner, burned from the outside sill into a bathroom and storage area, destroying clothing, trunks, and boxes and damaging the interior wood and outer wall. An attempted pipe thawing was suspected as the cause.
