Lawyers seek dismissal of Walton Kirkendoll endangering children verdict
Attorneys for Timothy Walton-Kirkendoll ask a Lorain County judge to overturn the jury verdict finding him guilty of endangering children for leaving three unattended in an Elyria apartment. He was acquitted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 2-year-old Demarius Boone, who died Oct. 12, 2012, from injuries and alcohol in his system. The defense argues no legal duty was shown.
